Extensify is building a ConnectWise PSA Chrome extension for the people running the queue: MSP techs and IT ops. v0.2.0 ships a live ticket status panel, real-time alerts for what is burning right now, and a SPA-wide lifetime view per ticket. No extra tab, no background service, no data leaving the browser — and the waitlist at the bottom of this post is the only way to hear the day it ships.
What it does
A live status panel — pinned to every ConnectWise PSA view.
The ConnectWise PSA extension injects a fixed, unobtrusive panel into the ConnectWise PSA UI at the surfaces MSP techs and IT ops already work in. Each open ticket row carries its current status, age, owner, and last-update timestamp, refreshed from the queue without a page reload. The panel survives SPA route changes inside ConnectWise PSA, so the same view follows you across boards, ticket detail, and search — no extra tab, no switching contexts to see what your queue is doing right now.
Real-time alerts
What is burning right now — without opening a tab.
v0.2.0 listens to ticket-state changes on the active ConnectWise PSA surface and surfaces them in the panel: new ticket assigned to you, status flipped, SLA at risk, escalation. Techs running a queue of fifteen tickets stop refreshing to find out which one moved — the panel tells them. Alerts originate from a content-script observer scoped to host_permissions: https://*.connectwise.com/*, so nothing about your tickets leaves the browser.
Lifetime tracking
A lifetime view of every ticket, not just the ones on screen.
ConnectWise PSA built-in boards are column-strong but row-blind: a ticket that aged on Monday, was reopened Wednesday, and resolved Friday disappears from view the moment you scroll. The extension composes a SPA-wide lifetime timeline per ticket — open to close, every status flip, every ownership change, every re-open — so the team knows the full story of a ticket the next time it lands back on the board. This is the queue-exhaustion gap: the platform shows what is happening now, but not what has happened over the ticket lifetime.

Permissions, briefly
storage + activeTab — and that is the whole list.
Two permissions: storage (persists your license key and Pro state locally) and activeTab (reads the active ConnectWise PSA tab so the content script can inject). host_permissions scopes the content script to ConnectWise PSA only — no broad-host permission, no telemetry endpoint, no background network call. Pro status is a single boolean resolved client-side; nothing about your tickets leaves the browser.

Will it run in any browser besides Chrome?
v0.2.0 is a Manifest V3 Chrome extension that runs in Chrome and other Chromium-based browsers that load Chrome Web Store extensions (Edge, Brave, Arc). Firefox support is not in scope for v0.2.0; the extension runs entirely in the browser via a content script scoped by host_permissions, so no data leaves the tab.
